Fitness Pilates classes
Want to add a little intensity to your yoga holiday? Our fitness Pilates classes provide an invigorating mind-body workout. Classes will target muscles to enhance posture and strengthen the core and back, reducing the risk of injuries. Fitness Pilates involves mobilizing the spine while performing exercises that lengthen, tone, and strengthen muscles, making it ideal for the core and back.
Our classes are led by certified fitness Pilates instructors and are mat-based. They are suitable for all fitness levels and can be a valuable addition to a well-rounded exercise routine. This 45-minute class is available in all Beach Clubs, so why not give one a go during your yoga holiday?

Don't wait, join us on the mat today.
Stretch and relax classes
Join us for a 45-minute stretch and relax class at the end of a busy day. This evening class will prepare your muscles for the next day's activities while promoting relaxation.
The class is designed to combat muscle exhaustion, prevent heavy tired legs, and improve energy levels through 30 minutes of full-body stretching. Then, you can enjoy 15 minutes of guided meditation and music in the natural surroundings of our Beach Clubs.
Our focus is on improving flexibility, reducing muscle tension and stress, and promoting relaxation. This class is perfect for people of all fitness levels, including beginners.
Mobility stretch classes
Looking for a way to work through tired muscles and get your body moving? Try our mobility stretch classes, which use dynamic stretches and movements to help you make the most of all our activities.
Dynamic stretching involves active movements of muscles and joints through a full range of motion, rather than just holding a position for a prolonged period like with static stretching. By performing stretches in a continuous and flowing manner, you can increase blood flow, heart rate, and body temperature, which makes it a great warm-up routine before any physical activity. That's why we recommend integrating yoga and mobility into your fitness holiday.
Some examples of dynamic stretches include leg swings, walking lunges, high knees, and Spiderman lunges. This type of stretching is particularly effective before activities that involve explosive movements or agility, such as water skiing or tennis. So why not make it part of your day? Your body will thank you.
What are the benefits of yoga?
There are endless benefits to yoga and other forms of mobility-focused exercises.
Yoga can improve your flexibility, posture and coordination. It can also be hugely beneficial to those who regularly do other types of exercise, from climbing to road cycling. You can use it to stretch out tight muscles and help prevent injuries.
Then, of course, the mental health benefits of yoga are invaluable, particularly when you incorporate meditation and breathing techniques.
What are the different yoga styles?
At our Beach Clubs, you'll have the opportunity to try a few different styles of yoga.
Vinyasa: If you're keen on an energetic practice, this style of yoga is perfect. Its purpose is to get your heart pumping and the sequences are designed to build strength rather than to help you relax.
General yoga: Combining elements of Hatha yoga and Yin yoga, our yoga classes offer the perfect introduction to yoga with a gentle and slow practice. You'll typically hold poses for longer, allowing you to achieve an all-over body stretch.
