St Anton is definitely one of our favourites. St Anton Am Arlberg is known as one of the best ski areas in the world with a legendary après-ski scene to boot. Steeped in history, it's often referred to as the 'cradle of skiing' after playing its part in inventing the sport.
St Anton village itself has heaps of charm and the famous après-ski bars on the slopes above the village rock from 3pm. The stunning scenery and charming village just add to the glamour of this special resort.
As part of the mighty 305km Arlberg region, (which includes Lech, Zürs, Stuben and St Christoph) intermediate and advanced skiers will be able to really push themselves and then reward themselves after a big day on the mountain.

Off the mountain
The village of St Anton has loads of charm and boasts a real Tirolean feel with onion-domed churches, loads of shopping and no cars in the centre. It's quite a large resort that’s spread out. Its choice of bars, shops and restaurants are exceptional.
The more lively bars that the area is famous for are dotted around the slopes above the village. If you’d like something more on the quieter side of things, there’s plenty of cosy restaurants and bars for you too. Or for something a bit different, head to the resort's wellness centre, complete with indoor pool so don't forget your swimming gear.
