Forming one half of the world-famous 425km Paradiski area in France, a ski holiday to Les Arcs means you'll be greeted with 242 wide-open, snowsure runs and super-convenient access to the lifts and slopes.
We have six wonderful ski chalets in the tree-lined, picturesque area of Les Arcs called Plan Peisey. This calm and quiet village is like a balcony overlooking the Peisey-Nancroix valley. It's convenient too as you'll be right next to the impressive Vanoise Express cable car which links directly into neighbouring La Plagne.
Plan Peisey is full of old world charm with many traditional chalets sitting alongside recently renovated farm buildings and the odd 60s and 70s architecture too. Nightlife is low key but there's a nice choice of restaurants and bars for some relaxed evenings out.
Complete beginners can get to grips on the many green runs whilst intermediates and advanced skiers and boarders can push themselves to new heights with black and red runs.

On the mountain
This is a big mountain with altitude, an amazing variety of pistes and guaranteed snow thanks to a glacier. Beginners will love the wide green runs close to the villages while intermediates can enjoy some of the best tree skiing around with runs of up to 7km through the woods to Vallandry.
The fast link over La Plagne really opens this area up for the mile-munchers. You'd be hard pushed to ski the whole area in a season, let alone a week. The area is really accessible too so there's lots of off-piste to be had without the need for a transceiver.

The Vanoise Express double-decker cable car is one of the largest cable cars in the world and is definitely worth a ride. It links Les Arcs to La Plagne and stretches over a mile across the valley floor carrying over 200 passengers. Impressive!
Head over to the dedicated speed skiing course to see people hitting some crazy speeds. They often have practice sessions and races where they reach speeds over 100mph (the record is currently 158.4mph)! You can even have a go yourself if you're good enough and brave enough.
