Looking for a resort with guaranteed snow, slopes to suit all levels and a ton of things to do off the slopes? Yes? Look no more as Les Deux Alpes in France is the place for you.
It's one of our top resorts for those reasons and many more. You'll love Deux Alpes if you're a group wanting a cosy chalet, a family needing a spacious base to keep the kids happy or a couple wanting nothing but a comfy bed and heaps of snow.
With 96 runs stretching from 1300m right up to the glacier at a breathless 3570m, you're spoilt for choice whether your a complete beginner or an experienced skier or snowboarder.
Off the slopes is just as much fun with plenty of bars and restaurants for all budgets, shopping (again for all budgets) and activities like ice skating or swimming and more.

On the mountain
The snowsure, varied slopes of Les Deux Alpes cover several peaks as you climb ever-higher towards the highest skiable glacier in Europe at an impressive 3570m. It’s a tall ski area, mostly above the tree line with plenty of off-piste possibilities, including the ominously named 'La Grave' area. There are several terrain parks making it a leading destination for freestyle skiers and boarders.
A host of lift upgrades and a brand new lift really open this area up. In 2019/20, a new 8-seater gondola was built to link La Fée area back up to the glacier and faster lifts were installed in the Crêtes and Thuit areas to cut down on lift queues at busier times.
Beginners quickly progress to the glacier slopes with their stunning views (don't forget your camera). Intermediates can spend their days cruising the mass of blue and red runs.
