The Hotel Aalborg is in one of the best locations in all of Les Deux Alpes; on the slopes and close to a number of lifts. The relaxed and spacious bar area flows out to a large sun terrace (perfect for an al fresco lunch or après-ski drinks) which looks out on the nursery slopes, beginner ski school meeting point and the lifts beyond. Take a short walk and you'll find yourself in the lively resort centre.
For families, our full range of kids' clubs provides safe and fun indoor and outdoor activities every day for children from four months old, right up to 12 years old.
A convenient in-house equipment shop saves you the time and effort of carrying your kit around the resort. There's a storage locker per room for added convenience. And if you're in need of a bit of TLC, we have a small wellness area with a sauna and treatment room.
The inviting public areas are spacious and quirkily furnished. There's always members of our hospitality team around if you fancy a chat or need any tips or advice about the resort. When the slopes have closed, the bar comes alive with buzzing après and plenty of banter.
With a range of different room sizes to suit all groups and the warm and friendly atmosphere, you can rest assured that you and your party will have an unforgettable ski holiday in Les Deux Alpes.

About the resort...
A great example of an all-rounder. Long hours of sunshine (when it's not snowing) and snowsure slopes certainly help, but Les Deux Alpes is all about the variety of things to do, both on and off the mountain.
A superb resort for families (one of our top 10), groups and all standards of skier or boarder. Beginner slopes near the resort and on the glacier make it a great place to learn whilst enjoying the glorious mountains rising up all around you. Intermediates have plenty of choice while experts should hire a guide and test their freeriding ability on the legendary off-piste runs of the ominously named La Grave.
The resort is large and well laid out with two main roads; one in, one out. Along each road, you'll come across an excellent range of sports shops, gift shops, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. The après-ski is as lively as you want it to be with over 40 bars, restaurants and nightclubs on your doorstep.

Rest and relaxation
We have a small wellness area in the Aalborg with a sauna and treatment room. The list of treatments is pretty comprehensive and includes sports, deep tissue and hot stone massage, Indian head massage and beauty treatments using Temple Spa products, ideal for a bit of off-piste pampering. Take a look at the massage and body treatment menu for information and prices.
Food and drink
Our half board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Breakfast is a fairly extensive affair with cooked and continental options every day. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Your seven evening meals consist of three-courses with regionally inspired dishes all followed by fresh coffee. You can buy drinks to accompany your meal from the bar.
Rooms
The choice of rooms here is pretty extensive. They can accommodate anywhere between two and six people per room and each is spacious with good storage and ensuite facilities. Most rooms have a balcony and many have cracking views of the pistes and Muzelle mountain. You'll also find luxurious Temple Spa toiletries in each bathroom.
Families and kids
Our youngest guests will be well catered for with our childcare and crèches taking care of kids from four months to 12 years old. For skiing kids, we offer a ski school drop-off and pick-up service, ensuring they're happy and settled. There's also evening care available on three evenings a week.
Our chefs will cook up dedicated kids' menus for high tea at 5pm. All of the firm favourites are prepared to make sure they're well fed. You can also borrow our snow buggies and sledges for when you want to head out and explore the resort by yourselves.
For our youngest guests, we have a 24-hour baby room and UK standard cots and highchairs, just let us know at the time of booking if you'd like a cot in your room.
We can even provide a private nanny service if you would prefer to have individual care for your little ones. Simply call us to discuss your needs.
Neilson Mountain Experts
Don’t forget that you get free guiding and coaching throughout the week from fully qualified ski and board instructors with our Mountain Expert service.
Designed for confident blue and red-run skiers and snowboarders, they'll show you around the mountain on free guiding sessions, and even offer free coaching sessions to help you become a more confident skier or snowboarder.
There's at least one session a day and we guarantee each guest at least two sessions a week. Your hosts will explain how it works when you get there.
